About Sameer

Sameer Africa, formerly Firestone East Africa, was established in 1969 to make tyres in Nairobi and later sold tyres under the Yana brand. It closed its Nairobi tyre factory in 2016, shifted to imports and then exited tyres to focus on letting industrial property, with EPZ and non-EPZ space along Mombasa Road. It is part of the Sameer Group.
