About Stanbic
Stanbic Holdings is a Nairobi non-operating holding company for Stanbic Bank Kenya, SBG Securities and Stanbic Insurance Agency, with banking operations in Kenya and South Sudan. It descends from Credit Finance Corporation (CfC), incorporated in 1955, which merged with Stanbic Bank Kenya in 2008 to form CfC Stanbic Holdings before renaming in 2016. South Africa's Standard Bank Group is the majority shareholder.
