About Co-op Bank
Co-operative Bank of Kenya is a commercial bank serving individuals, SMEs, corporates and Kenya's co-operative societies. It was set up in 1965 as a co-operative society, licensed as a bank in 1968 and became a full commercial bank in 1989. Co-op Holdings Co-operative Society holds about 65 percent; the bank listed on the NSE in 2008. Subsidiaries include Kingdom Bank and Co-op Bank South Sudan.
