About Carbacid

Carbacid Investments mines, purifies and distributes carbon dioxide from a natural underground reservoir in Kereita Forest, Kiambu County, supplying soft drink and beer bottlers and industrial and medical users across East Africa, and also makes dry ice. Its origins go back to 1933 through BEA Sawmills; the company was incorporated in 1961 and listed on the Nairobi bourse in 1972.
