About BAT Kenya
BAT Kenya manufactures cigarettes and tobacco-free nicotine pouches, with a factory on Likoni Road in Nairobi and a green leaf threshing plant in Thika. BAT has operated in Kenya since 1907 and the company listed on the Nairobi bourse in 1969. Part of the British American Tobacco group, it contracts tobacco farmers in Migori and Bungoma and exports to other BAT markets in East and Southern Africa.
